The University Theatre and the English Alternative Theatre at Kansas University are looking for a young male actor to perform in "An Army of One," a new, original script written by 2005 KU graduate Zacory Boatright.
The co-production, scheduled Nov. 14-20 in the Inge Theatre, will be directed by Paul Hough, a KU alumnus, who is artistic director of the American Heartland Theatre in Kansas City, Mo.
Auditions for the role of a 10-year-old are at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 in the Crafton-Preyer Theatre in Murphy Hall.
Hough said having auditioners with previous experience in plays or drama classes would be a plus but wouldn't be necessary.
