Helen Roads has opened a counseling practice, Spiritsong, at Harmony Wellness Center, 841 N.H.

Roads, with 15 years’ experience, specializes in post-traumatic stress disorder and other stress-related issues, life coaching and the spiritual aspects of personal growth.

Roads is a certified trauma specialist and licensed clinical professional counselor. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, an intervention that uses bilateral stimulation of the brain to decrease the effects of trauma.

She received a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University and is a doctoral candidate in the School of Consciousness and Transformation at California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
