Lawrence vocalists to sing for charity

The Lawrence Men’s Chorale today will fill downtown with music to fill the closets of local children. The tour begins at Amyx Barber Shop, 841 1/2 Mass, at 2:30 p.m. Other stops will include The Bay Leaf, 725 Mass; Kizer-Cummings Jewelers, 833 Mass; and attorneys Riling, Burkhead & Nitcher, 808 Mass. The group will perform 15- to 20-minute sets at each location and then wind down at Free State Brewing Co., 636 Mass. Donations will be accepted. Proceeds benefit the Clothing Room, an organization providing clothing to needy children in the Lawrence school district.
