Burglaries and thefts reported

  • An Oskaloosa woman told police someone forged 19 of her personal checks worth $4,420 between Aug. 30 and Sept. 23.
  • A 20-year-old Kansas University student's 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse was taken between about 6 a.m. Sunday from the 1100 block of Ohio Street. The car was valued at $1,200.
