Law enforcement report

  • A 45-year-old man was booked into the Douglas County Jail for methamphetamine-related offenses Thursday. Eudora Police arrested the man for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing of a controlled substance and possession of ephedrine, a precursor of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $17,000.

Lawrence Police said Thursday that in the past 24 hours they’d handled:

  • 317 calls
  • 45 reports
  • three burglaries
  • two thefts
  • two criminal damages to property
  • six noninjury accidents
