Lawrence Police said Thursday that in the past 24 hours they had handled:

• 266 calls
• 48 reports
• Three thefts
• 10 burglaries
• 24 noninjury accidents
• One injury accident

Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 23-year-old man reported his 1999 Dodge Durango valued at $14,000 taken between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the 3700 block of Shadybrook Lane.
• Employees of Food 4 Less, 2525 Iowa, reported that an unknown suspect took $1,500 from the store between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday.
