Lawrence Police said Friday that in the past 24 hours they’d handled:

  • 254 calls
  • 33 reports
  • four burglaries
  • four thefts
  • three noninjury accidents
  • one injury accident
  • Lawrence Police said Friday they arrested two Lawrence men in connection with a melee early Oct. 24 at a party in the 2000 block of Hillview Road. The suspects, age 21 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, conspiracy, criminal damage and theft.
