Saw

If looking for a movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat and begging for more but scared to death you’ll actually get your request, take a pass on “Saw” and make it a Blockbuster night. “Saw” is a poor attempt at a thriller and lacks character development. Now stop me if you’ve heard this one: There is this psychotic murderer on the loose who is out for revenge. Anybody? If director James Wan was looking for a smash horror hit, he should have focused more on the shock factor rather than taking the gruesome approach. I can watch “ER” as much as the next person, but the amount of gory scenes in this movie was a bit much. With actors such as Cary Elwes and Danny Glover, I guess I should have blamed myself. How do you top “The Princess Bride” or “Lethal Weapon?”
