American soldiers killed during the invasion of Iraq

The Department of Defense and family members have identified 803 U.S. servicemembers who died supporting U.S.-led operations in Iraq. Of these, 665 died since May 1, 2003, when President Bush declared that major combat operations there had ended.

The total of 803 includes accidental and noncombat related deaths. Additional U.S. deaths have been reported but have not yet been identified.
