The Kansas University Public Safety Office has released a composite sketch of a man believed to be near a fire set Monday in Watson Library.

Capt. Schuyler Bailey said a university employee saw a white man, age 27 to 30 with red hair near the area on the second floor where a few books were set on fire. The man was about 5 feet 7 inches tall and was wearing a dark or black windbreaker.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and no one was hurt.

The Public Safety Office asks anyone with information about the incident to call the office at 864-5900 or KU Crime Stoppers at 864-8888.
