The husband of Marni Penrod, a candidate for Douglas County clerk, was misidentified in Wednesday’s Journal-World. David and Marni Penrod have been married for 13 years.
- A story in Monday’s Journal-World incorrectly implied Judge Michael Malone’s impartiality had been called into question in eminent-domain proceedings involving the Kansas Turnpike Authority.
Malone recently allowed the Turnpike Authority to go forward with eminent-domain proceedings as long as the agency pays a fair price to be determined by court-appointed appraisers.
