Burglaries and thefts reported
- A burglar damaged three window screens, worth $150, when entering a residence in the 2500 block of Crestline Circle sometime between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, a report filed with Lawrence Police said. Missing from the residence were a laptop computer, valued at $1,400, and $26 in coins, police said.
- A 35-year-old Lawrence resident reported Sunday that a window to his residence in the 3500 block of West Ninth Court had been damaged sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday. The window was valued at $1,000, according to the report.
