A man wanted for a Wyandotte County killing was arrested in a Lawrence motel early Saturday morning, law enforcement officials said.
The suspect, identified only as Mark McGee, 31, was arrested about 3 a.m. without incident by a federal fugitive task force and Lawrence Police. The task force consisted of FBI agents and U.S. marshals.
No other details about the arrest were available and police were referring additional questions to the FBI.
McGee had been the subject of an intensive manhunt Friday in the Bonner Springs area.
