Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Someone took $1,385 in currency between Jan. 5 and Jan. 17 from Spectrum Home Services, 827 Walnut St. No. 24, according to a report.
  • A 55-year-old Douglas County woman noticed earlier this month that three guns and two compact-disc players were missing from a storage room at her home in the 1500 section of East 767 Road, according to a report. The missing guns include a rifle, a Desert Eagle .44 magnum, and a Smith & Wesson handgun. She valued the items at $1,600.
