Report: Spears may sue for pornography claims

Britney Spears’ people are threatening to sue about a report that the singer spent an evening watching porn movies with her girlfriends, MSNBC.com reports.

Representatives for the star are livid over an article in the U.K. tab News of the World that claims Spears checked into the Sanderson hotel in London under the alias Jade Moet and rented pornographic films.

“It’s not true,” said her representative, who said she was consulting Spears’ lawyers about legal action. Representatives for News of the World couldn’t be reached for comment.

Queen still the champion

Queen’s hit single “We Will Rock You” has been voted the greatest rock anthem of all time, reports BBC Online.

The 1977 song beat the band’s renowned classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” in the survey of 1,000 people by Britain’s UCI cinema chain.

The Darkness — the U.K. rock sensation of 2003 — came in 19th with the single “I Believe In a Thing Called Love.”

Along with Nirvana and Tina Turner, the group was one of just three acts from the past 15 years to make the Top 20. Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” came in third, while Turner’s “The Best” was ninth.

Europe was fourth, with “The Final Countdown,” while Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ On a Prayer” took fifth place.
