Law enforcement report

  • A 21-year-old Kansas University student told police a man exposed himself to her at Meadowbrook Apartments, 15th Street and Crestline Drive.

The woman said she was returning to her apartment about 11:53 a.m. Thursday when she saw the man at the end of a hallway with his pants down and his shirt pulled over his face.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Three women reported more than $4,000 in items taken during the weekend from their home in the 1300 block of New Hampshire. Missing items included more than $3,000 in jewelry, a stereo and DVD player, and wrapped Christmas gifts. The burglar entered through a window sometime between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
  • A 37-year-old woman told police a man grabbed her checkbook and ran as she carried it on top of a stack of laundry at Norge Laundry & Cleaning Village, 2346 Iowa. It happened about 2:20 p.m. Sunday.
