Lawrence Police said Monday that between Friday and Sunday they’d handled:
- 763 calls
- 90 reports
- seven burglaries
- six thefts
- 24 noninjury accidents
- three injury accidents
- 16 noise complaints
Injury accidents
- A Baldwin woman suffered injuries Friday in a wreck at 23rd and Iowa streets.
Erika S. Reusch, 22, was riding in a Ford Ranger that was stopped in traffic on southbound Iowa Street when a Jeep Cherokee driven by Elizabeth A. Speer, 21, Kansas City, Mo., struck it from behind.
Reusch was taken by ambulance for treatment at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
