Aaron Groene, a Sunset Hill fifth-grader, is fitted with a shemagh by Khalid Alowain, a Kansas University student from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. KU's International Student Assn. staged its annual World Expo on Friday, where international students showed off their home countries at the Kansas Union Ballroom. About 500 schoolchildren came to the event to learn about dozens of foreign countries.
