- Natalie Gump, 77, who was injured Nov. 13 in a two-vehicle head-on collision near Midland Junction, has been in critical condition at University of Kansas Hospital, Kansas City, Kan. A nursing supervisor Tuesday night said she was too busy to check Gump’s latest condition report.
- Sharon Stumpf, 21, Oskaloosa, also has been in critical condition at KU Hospital, where she was taken after a one-vehicle accident Friday in Oskaloosa. The nursing supervisor Tuesday night was too busy to check on Stumpf’s latest condition report.
