Right Between the Ears wins national award
Right Between the Ears, the Kansas Public Radio comedy troupe, has received a Golden Reel Award from the National Federation of Community Broadcasters.
The award was given in the best music/entertainment (local) category. It was presented at a conference last weekend in San Francisco. It was the first time the troupe received the award.
The group previously had won national awards from the New York Festivals, a Crystal Award of Excellence and from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
The next Right Between the Ears performance will be at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. April 19 at Liberty Hall. The 8 p.m. show will be broadcast live on Kansas Public Radio, including KANU-FM 91.5 in Lawrence.
