Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 22-year-old KU student reported a laptop computer and carrying case worth $2,050 taken from her home in the 1000 block of Pennsylvania Street. The theft happened sometime between May 29 and Sunday night, she told police.
• A 54-year-old woman reported a collection of 100 DVDs taken from her home in the 1100 block of New Jersey sometime between 10 p.m. Monday and 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. She estimated their worth at $1,000, police reports said.
