Is Angelina Jolie weird? Or just misunderstood? The Oscar-winning actress sits down with Barbara Walters on “20/20” (9 p.m., ABC) to discuss her much-publicized, short-lived marriage to actor Billy Bob Thornton. Viewers will be reminded of their shared tattoos and mutual habit of carrying around vials of each other’s blood. Who could have predicted THAT breakup?

Jolie will also speak of her adopted baby and her strained relationship with actor father Jon Voight. And don’t be surprised if she squeezes in a few promotional blurbs for the film sequel “Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life.”

Walters’ other guests include “Spider-Man” and “Seabiscuit” star Tobey Maguire and veteran television correspondent Joan Lunden.

• Based on a cult comic strip, “Free for All” (10 p.m., Showtime) airs tonight. While written and produced by Merriwether Williams of “SpongeBob Squarepants” fame, this ‘toon is clearly aimed at the “South Park” market. “Free” follows the antics of millionaire entrepreneur Johnny G. Jenkins (Jonathan Silverman) and his slacker pal Clay (Brett Merhar), who has to cope with a pet ferret that has a drug abuse problem. Other celebrity voices include Juliette Lewis as Johnny’s crush, Paula.
• In another animated development, the Cartoon Network launches “Evil Con Carne” (8:30 p.m., Cartoon Network). This is not so much a new cartoon as a spin-off of an old ‘toon called “Grim & Evil.” “Con Carne” concerns a cranky tycoon named Hector whose body was squashed in a tragic accident. Scientists save him by implanting his brain in the body of a jolly circus bear named Boskov. Now re-animated, Hector/Boskov aims for world domination with the aid of his beautiful assistant, Major Doctor Ghastly. Got that?
• The new series “Into the Fire” (9:30 p.m., Food Network) offers a behind-the-scenes glance at some of America’s favorite dining spots. Tonight’s debut episode profiles Los Angeles’ popular Cheesecake Factory, which offers 36 variations on the rich dessert. The Factory has expanded to 61 franchises throughout the United States.
