AIDS quilt panels on display at Spencer

Two sections of the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt are on display at the Spencer Museum of Art.

Each section is made up of eight 3-by-6-foot panels. The quilt panels will be on display through Dec. 8 in the museum’s central court. At 5:30 p.m. Dec. 2, Douglas County AIDS Project will co-sponsor a World AIDS Day commemoration at the museum.

Woods graduated in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and earned his master’s of business administration in 1989. He died that same year.
