Paintings to be shown at J. Gladman Gallery

Glenda Rolle and Holly Weitekamp will present “Perception of Progression” Aug. 31-Sept. 30 at J. Gladman Gallery, 1401 Mass.

The presentation will feature a symbolic series of acrylic paintings representing growth and development from the eye of a child and adult.

The gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.

Art Affair Gallery to open show

Baldwin The Art Affair Gallery, 622 High St., will have an opening reception for “Works in Clay: Tile Paintings, Masks and Sculptural Pottery from Bob’s Cellar Clay Studio” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 6.

Works from artists Dan MacKinnon, Scott Garrette and Victoria Garrette will be featured. The show runs through Oct. 5.

The gallery’s hours are 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday by appointment.
