Conference to explore Australian fiction, film

Narrative in Australian fiction and cinema will be the theme of the annual meeting of the American Association of Australian Literary Studies this month in Kansas City, Mo.

The meeting, which runs today through Sunday at the Marriott Plaza Hotel, will feature presenters from Australia, New Zealand, Germany, England and the United States.

They include a variety of writers such as poet and novelist Lily Brett, poet Martin Harrison and poet, dramatist and novelist John Kinsella.
