Auditions for ‘Reunion’ coming up at LCT

Auditions for the musical “Reunion” will be at 7 p.m. April 14 and April 16 at Lawrence Community Theatre, 1501 N.H.

“Reunion” tells the story of the Civil War through the eyes of those who took up the Union cause. It is an intersection of theater and history, weaving together songs, visual images and dialogue.

The show is designed as Victorian entertainment, with the story as it might have been told by a 19th-century wandering company of actors.

Those auditioning are asked to prepare a short song. An accompanist will be available.

The show will run June 6-23. Mary Doveton is director, with musical direction by Geoff Wilckens.

Scripts are available for checkout at the theater office with a $10 deposit.
