The Lawrence Public Library, located at 707 Vermont in downtown Lawrence is a hub of community activity. The library provides Lawrence with access to materials in a broad spectrum of media ranging from rare manuscripts to entree’ to the World Wide Web.

Every spring the Library hosts an annual book sale benefiting the Friends of the Library, a non-profit organization that supports the libraries various services.
