A former Kiowa County sheriff’s deputy has been sentenced to one year in jail for causing his friend’s death in a car accident. Mark Koehn, 35, pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in October for a traffic accident last year in which he struck Charles Holt II, 29, with his patrol car.
