Herman and Elenor Morgan, Lawrence, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 21 at Wyndam Place Apartments, 2551 Crossgate Dr., Lawrence.
Elenor Duncan and Herman Morgan were married April 20, 1942, in Bethany, Mo.
Elenor attended schools in Hubbard, Iowa. She was a housewife and also had a craft store in Erie in the 1970s. Herman graduated from Walnut High School in 1938. He was a farmer and gas station owner/operator in Iowa. After moving to Kansas, he had his own ditching service and was a rural water line inspector in the Wichita area. They retired to Erie, but moved to Lawrence in 1989.
They have a daughter, Sharon Morgan Aikins, Lawrence; a son, the late Larry Morgan; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The couple requests no gifts.
Donny and Beverly Barnhart, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 21 with family.
The couple were married April 21, 1962, in Michigan Valley.
Don graduated from Appanoose High School in rural Franklin County. He worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation and Kennedy Glass in Lawrence. Beverly graduated from Appanoose High and attended Emporia State College. She is a homemaker and worked for Kennedy Glass for 31 years.
They have a son, Raymond, Lawrence; a daughter, Dona Higgins, Perry; and two grandchildren.

Dara Lynn Shuck, Overbrook, and Cody Martin Wilson, Baldwin City, were married Feb. 4, 2012, in Brooklyn Hall at Enright Gardens in Edgerton with the bride’s grandfather, Darrell Shuck officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David and Laurie Shuck, Overbrook.
The groom is the son of Larry and Ladonna Wilson, Baldwin City.
Maid of honor was Dawn Huddleston. Best man was Chris Blum. Bridesmaid was Anna Miller. Groomsmen was Kyle Gudenkauf.
A reception followed at Brooklyn Hall.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Baldwin High School, a 2010 graduate of Emporia State University, and is a naturalist for the City of Lawrence.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Baldwin High, a 2008 graduate of Pittsburg State University, and is a financial auditor for the state of Kansas.
The couple reside in rural Baldwin City.
Huffman and Gryszowka

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Patsy Huffman, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Dave and Deb Gryszowka, Olathe.
Maid of honor was Kayla Altman. Best man was Andy Gryszowka. Bridesmaids were Kirby McGovern-Crist, Jessica Grier, Amy Ashurst, Kelsey Cooper, Michelle Gallagher, Alicia Foster and Erin Bassi. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Olathe East High School, a 2005 graduate of Kansas University, and is an account sales manager with PepsiCO.
