Jennifer and Jeremy Schuyler
Jennifer Schneider and Jeremy Schuyler, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 29, 2011, at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University, with the Rev. Travis Peterson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Kerry and Becky Schneider, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Steve and Karen Schuyler, Lawrence.
Matron of honor was Allison Mazzei. Best man was Justin Schuyler. Bridesmaids were Kelsey Schuyler, Brandi St. John, Aidan Ottman and Ali Boice. Groomsmen were Frank Ryan, Zac Kohl, Brian Graves and Steven Anthony. Flower girls were Caroline and Alex Macneill. Ringbearer was Brooklynn Schuyler. Usher was Umar Firman.
A reception was given at Maceli’s.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Maize High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from KU in 2008 and will receive a teaching degree from Ottawa University this month. She is a student teacher at Hillcrest School.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Lawrence High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from KU in 2009 and is employed at Waddell and Reed in Shawnee Mission.
The couple reside in Lawrence.

Buck and Beth Wendel
Beth Wegner, Lawrence, and Buck Wendel, Kingsville, Mo., were married Sept. 17, 2011, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Matthew Zimmerman officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jane and Gus Wegner, Lawrence.
The groom is the son of Theresa and Kevin Wendel, Kingsville.
Maid of honor was Ellen Wegner. Best man was Jeff Studebaker. Bridesmaids were Mecayla Cobb, Trisha Lassiter, Angie Scaletty and Holly Smith. Groomsmen were Dan Beyer, John Ford, Kevin Jaegers and Brett Loxterman. Ringbearers were Truman and Turner Juelsgaard. Flower girl was Katie Hulme. Ushers were Jonathan Camp, Aubrey Flynn, Ryan Mitchell and Ryan Renken. Readers were Janet McLaughlin and Emily Smith.
A reception was given at Abe and Jake’s in Lawrence.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in social work and a law degree, both from Kansas University. She is the community outreach and crime prevention specialist with the Olathe Police Department.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Central Missouri and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration from KU. He is a client service manager at ExpertPlan Inc. in Overland Park.
The couple reside in Lenexa.

Jenn Black and Jon Schaber, both of Tonganoxie, were married Oct. 15, 2011, at Victorian Veranda Country Inn, Lawrence, with Carmen Hocking officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Debbie and Blaine Smith, Tonganoxie, and David Black, Reading, Pa.
The groom is the son of Debbie and Jim Sutton, Leavenworth, and A.F. Schaber III, Merriam.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Jacob Black.
Maid of honor was Rebecca Weakley-Jarvis. Best man was Jeff Salmon. Bridesmaids were Jennie Simach-Pantoja and Heather Salmon. Junior bridesmaids were Brittany Black and Jenna Slaughter. Groomsmen were Mark Irick and Jeremy Smith. Flower girls were Audrey Smith and Sadie Kappel. Ringbearer was Trystan Pantoja. Guest book and program attendants were Keelin Robertson and Tori Luna. Music for the wedding and reception was provided by Rick Stanley Entertainment.
A reception followed at the Inn.
The couple reside in Tonganoxie.
