The future groom is the son of J.D. and Beth Hite, Udall, and the late Joyce Hite. He graduated from Goddard High School and earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree at Kansas State University. He is employed by GMCN Architects in Garden City.
The couple plan a July 25, 2009, wedding at Danforth Chapel at Kansas University.

The future bride is the daughter of Mark Hill, Lawrence, and the late Vicki Reeves. She is a 2002 graduate of Free State High School and a 2006 graduate of Columbia University in New York City. She plans to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University in 2010 and is employed with Blakemore United Methodist Church in Nashville.
The groom is the son of Suzanne Starnes Martin, Nashville, and the late Jeffrey Todd Grammer Sr. He is a 2001 graduate of Davidson Academy in Nashville, and a student at Volunteer State Community College. He plans to be an English teacher.
The couple plan a May 23, 2009, wedding in Beersheba Springs, Tenn.

Dawn Filkins and Brian Knudtson, both of Topeka, announce their engagement.
The future bride is the daughter of Duane Filkins and Debbie Filkins, both of Lawrence. She is a 2002 graduate of Free State High School and attended Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Ill. She is studying for a bachelor’s degree in dietetics at Kansas State University.
The future groom is the son of Leonard and Darlene Knudtson, Topeka. He is a 1993 graduate of Washburn Rural High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washburn University in 1998.
The couple plan a May 2, 2009, wedding at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Anniversary

Judy and Dale Fowler
Dale and Judy Steinmetz Fowler, Perry, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on April 24.
The couple were married April 24, 1959, at Williamstown Assembly of God. Dale retired in 1993 after 27 years of service at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company because of multiple sclerosis. Judy retired in 2002 after 19 years of service as secretary of the asphalt division for N.R. Hamm Quarries and Construction.
They have a son, Eric and wife Sheila, Wellsville; and a one grandson. Another son, Shawn, died Dec. 10, 2008, and a daughter, DeAnn, died Nov. 10, 1985.

Stefanie Moore, Lawrence, and Todd Keister, El Paso, Texas, were married on the beach on Kuau Bay, Maui, Hawaii, March 13, 2009, with the Rev. Kilei Brown officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Kathleen Moore, Lincoln, Neb.
The groom is the son of Larry and Vonciel Keister, Allen, Texas.
Maid of honor was Laura Moore. Best man was Andrew Block. Bridesmaid was Yeni Alvarez.
A reception was given at Mama’s Fish House, Paia Maui, Hawaii.
The bride is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in voice from Kansas University in 1997 and a master’s degree in opera performance from KU in 1999. She is a freelance professional classical soprano soloist and ensemble singer with such groups as the Austin, Texas-based, four-time Grammy-nominated Conspirare and the Miami-based choral ensemble Seraphic Fire.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Coronado High School, El Paso, Texas. He earned a bachelor’s degree in voice from the University of Texas in 1996 and is the production director with Zenimax Online Studios.
The couple reside in Baltimore.
