The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Janice Bonfantine, Albuquerque. The groom is the son of R.A. and Terry Edwards, Hutchinson.
The maid of honor was Dana Glover. Best man was Ross Edwards.
Roy is head men's golf coach at the University of Colorado. He previously was the men's and women's assistant golf coach at Kansas University.
The couple reside in Boulder, Colo.
Katie Pruitt and Adam Cheney were married Aug. 4, 2007, at St. John's Catholic Church, Beloit, with the Rev. Joseph Kieffer officiating. A reception followed at Captain's Quarters, Beloit.
The bride is the daughter of David Pruitt, Beloit, and Jane Pruitt, Beloit. The groom is the son of Darrel and Bonnie Cheney, Hunter.
The maid of honor was Kimberly Young. The best man was Lance Cheney. Bridesmaids were Emily Oetting, Nicole McClain and Tara Pruitt. Groomsmen were Jason Cheney, Aaron Cheney and Chris Pruitt.

Katie is a 2001 graduate of St. John's Catholic High School, Beloit, and a 2005 graduate of Kansas University. She is currently a third-year law student at KU.
Adam is a 1999 graduate of Sylvan Unified High School and 2000 graduate of Kansas Technical College. He is employed by Action Plumbing in Lawrence.

Paul and Winnie Getto, Lawrence, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Wednesday with a family dinner at the Eldridge Hotel, where the couple first met as part-time employees while attending college.
They were married Oct. 10, 1942, in Montgomery Ala., where Paul was stationed and working as a dentist in the Air Force Dental Corps from 1942 to 1946. Winnie worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Montgomery.
The couple returned to Lawrence in 1948, where Paul practiced dentistry in the Lawrence National Bank building until retiring in 1971.
Their children are Jane Getto, Lawrence, Charles Getto, Lenexa, and Paul Getto, Topeka. They have five grandchildren.
Bill and Jean Hegeman will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reaffirmation of their marriage Oct. 27 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Lapeer, followed by a reception from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, Lawrence.
They were married Oct. 29, 1957, in Liberty, Mo. Both are lifetime Lawrence residents.
Bill worked for Farmland Industries for 31 years and Western Extralite for 11 years before retiring. Jean was a homemaker and worked for Dillons for 10 years before retiring.
Their children are Becky Grammer, Annette Glahn, Lisa Zweiner, Mike Hegeman and Mark Hegeman. They have 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Everett and Doris Nottingham, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family reunion dinner at 1 p.m. Oct. 21 at Sunnyside School.
They were married Oct. 19, 1947, at First United Methodist Church, Lawrence.
Everett is a retired dairyman and farmer. Doris is a homemaker.
Their children are David Nottingham, Lawrence, Lyle Nottingham, Paris, Texas, and daughter-in-law Linda Nottingham, Sharpsville, Ind., wife of the late Dale Nottingham.
Everett and Doris also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Carol and Victor Carr will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary with a family luncheon Oct. 21. Flowers also will be placed in the couple's honor at the 9 a.m. worship service of First Christian Church.
They were married Oct. 20, 1962, in Kansas City, Mo. They have lived in Lawrence since 1964.
Victor was employed by Allen Press, Meseraull Printing and Mainline Printing, Topeka, and is now retired.
Carol was employed by Plymouth Congregational Church, First Christian Church, and retired from working with the Lawrence office of the state Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services.
Their children are Gayla Schmitz and Linda Pickerel, both of Lawrence. They have two grandchildren.
