Mandy Skeet and Jerrad Lawrence, both of Grantville, announce their engagement, along with their parents.
The future bride is the daughter of Alan and Linda Skeet, Lewisville, Texas, and Danny and Sue Easum, Perry. The future groom is the son of Jerry and Kristen Lawrence, Grantville.
Mandy graduated from Perry-Lecompton High School in 2001 and attended Johnson County Community College. She is a certified emergency medical technician and is employed by St. Francis Health Center in Topeka.
Jerrad graduated from Perry-Lecompton High in 2000 and is employed by the Shawnee Rock Quarry in Bonner Springs.
The couple plan a Sept. 8, 2007, wedding at Grantville United Methodist Church.
Anderson and Bayliss
Nathan Anderson and Patty Hayden, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Anderson, to Nolan Bayliss, son of Tom and Margaret Bayliss, all of St. Louis.
The future bride graduated from Lawrence High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts in social work from Kansas State University in 2001, and a master's degree in social work from Dominican University in River Forest, Ill., in 2007. She is employed as a social worker at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.
The future groom graduated from Francis Howell North High School in St. Charles, Mo. He received a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Missouri in Columbia, and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University in Chicago. He is the co-founder of <a href="http://Naymz.com.">Naymz.com</a>.
The couple plan a May 3, 2008, wedding at the Lawrence Arts Center.
Quisenberry and Vukas
Calvin and Susan Quisenberry announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Quisenberry, to Chad Vukas, the son of Paul and Lisa Soptick, all of Tonganoxie, and Jack Vukas, Edwardsville.
The future bride is a 2001 graduate of Tonganoxie High School. She is the office manager at Quisenberry Funeral Home and a Realtor with Reece & Nichols Premier, Tonganoxie.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Tonganoxie High. He is a 2006 graduate of the Kansas Fire and Rescue Training Institute and is pursuing certification as an emergency medical technician. He is employed by Quisenberry Funeral Home and is a volunteer firefighter in Tonganoxie.
The couple plan a September wedding at Lake of the Forest, Bonner Springs.
Jennifer Hicks and Justin Logan were married July 7, 2007, at Potter Lake at Kansas University, with the Rev. Rick Clock officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David and Carol Hicks, Alpharetta, Ga. The groom is the son of Greg and Terri Logan, Coffeyville.
The maid of honor was Sarah Joy. The best man was John Logan. Bridesmaids were Lindsey St. Clair, Liz Hoelting, Becca Lee and Jill Keller. Groomsmen were Curtis Logan, Chris Hicks, Matt Thompson and Tom Keller.
Flower girls were Madyson Locke and Lara Baker. The ring bearer was Will Baker.
A reception was given at the Alvamar Country Club.
Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Mo. She received a Bachelor of Arts in architectural studies from Kansas University in 2007. She is employed as a home care provider for Hands to Help in Lawrence.
Justin is a 2002 graduate of Labette County High School in Altamont. He received a Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from KU in 2007. He is employed as a flight test engineer for Baker Aviation Services in Lawrence.
The couple reside in Lawrence.
Jennifer Carder and Aaron Dardis were married June 2, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Lawrence, with the Rev. Marcus McFaul officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Ross and Marilyn Carder, and the groom is the son of Patrick and Patricia Dardis.
The matron of honor was Andrea Hendrickson. The best man was Patrick Dardis. Bridesmaids were Amy Brown, Bridgett Dardis and Erin Rotramel. Groomsmen were Stacy Kaufman, Mark Kaufman and Brook Schuler.
A reception was given at the Lawrence Country Club.
Jennifer graduated from Hoxie High School and is veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. She also graduated from Wichita State University and is employed as director of human resources and business development at the Sheridan County Health Complex.
Aaron graduated from Eudora High School and Kansas State University.
He is employed as a teacher and coach at Hoxie High School.
The couple reside in Hoxie.
Grace Berry and Josh Fike were married April 21, 2007, at Christ the King Church in Topeka, with the Rev. Pete O'Sullivan officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Nancy Berry, Topeka. The groom is the son of Joe and Janet Fike, Lawrence.
The maid of honor was April Berry. The best men were Ryan Fike and Tyler Fike. Bridesmaids were Amanda Jantz, Melissa Gardner and Rebecca Bottesch. Groomsmen were Nate Hurd and Drew Salsbury.
Flower girls were Audrey Crist and Lanie Randall. Ring bearer was Isaiah Stewart.
A reception was given at the Kansas History Museum in Topeka.
Grace graduated from Hayden High School, Topeka, and received a Bachelor of Interior Architecture at Kansas State University. She is employed at Schmidt Design Group in Lawrence.
Josh graduated from Free State High School and plans to attend Lititz Watch Technicum in Lititz, Pa., this fall.
The couple reside in Lawrence and will move to Pennsylvania in September.
