Baker University cross-country runner Aiden Massey took first place in the 8,000-meter race during the Billy Mills Classic at Haskell Indian Nations University on Saturday.

Massey, a senior from Olathe, beat out 49 other runners with a time of 25:07.70, a personal best. Baker runners Jacob McGlasson, Jaden Vohs and Grayson Fink also placed in the top 10 for the 8,000-meter finals.

Haskell Indian Nations University earned second place as a team, with Dyami Berridge coming in third with a time 26:00.70. Haskell’s Jonathan Fragua and Preston Ironheart also placed in the top 10.
