All sports are back to action following the winter break, and several local area athletes had standout performances. Here are this week’s selections for Athletes of the Week:

The Lions returned to action with an 18-point win over Olathe East on Tuesday. In the game, Brynnae Johnson orchestrated the offense while also being the team’s leading scorer with 25 points.

Chase Honarvar, Bishop Seabury

Honarvar and the Bishop Seabury Seahawks picked up two conference wins in the past week, with Honarvar recording his first triple-double of the season against Bishop Ward with 10 points, 17 rebounds and 13 blocks. Against Northland Christian, Honarvar had 13 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocks.
