Coach of the Year: Matt McCune, Baldwin

The Baldwin Bulldogs had their best record in school history while winning the Frontier League for the second-straight year. The Bulldogs finished third in the state, defeating Bishop Miege.

Player of the Year: Yusef Iskandrani, Free State

Yusef Iskandrani

Free State’s senior goalkeeper was one of the best goalkeepers and players in the state of Kansas. He was named first-team all-state and first-team all-conference, and he was the 2024 Sunflower Conference Player of the Year.

Cooper Carr, Baldwin

Cooper Carr

Carr set a school record for most goals in a season with 28, seven of which were game-winners. He added 12 assists and set the school record for career goals with 60 on route to first-team all-league honors.

Trenton Cozadd, Free State

Trenton Cozadd

Cozadd was named a second-team all-state player and a second-team all-conference player as a junior midfielder for the Firebirds in 2024.

Brayden Hayes, Eudora

Brayden Hayes

Hayes scored 11 goals and tied the school record with 11 assists. The senior forward was a first-team all-league player and helped the team tie the school’s record for wins.

Jace Hoffman, Bishop Seabury

Jace Hoffman

Hoffman scored nine goals and had six assists as the team’s attacking midfielder. Hoffman produced despite facing double and triple teams, and he was a leader for the Seahawks.

Leo Schoenberger, Baldwin

Leo Schoenberger

Schoenberger was one of the top defenders for a Baldwin team that set a school record with 10 shutouts. He added nine goals and nine assists while shutting down opposing teams’ best scorers in multiple games.

Asher Sikes, Lawrence

Asher Sikes

Sikes scored 13 goals and seven assists. He wrapped up his senior season with a first-team all-league honor and was the team’s top offensive player.

Nate Steinlage, Eudora

Nate Steinlage

As the Cardinals’ goalkeeper, Steinlage allowed only 12 goals and had 104 saves, which moved him to the top of the school record book in career saves with 512. He was a first-team all-league player this year.
