KU volleyball closes out campaign with another sweep of Arkansas State

The Kansas volleyball team concluded its 2020-21 regular season with its third straight sweep — as well as seventh consecutive win — after defeating Arkansas State (25-21, 25-14, 25-14) Saturday afternoon at Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena.

Jenny Mosser shined in the season finale, leading the Jayhawks with 12 kills. Anezka Szabo and Caroline Crawford each had eight kills to finish behind her. Crawford also recorded six blocks, which was the most of any Jayhawk on the day.

Kansas finished the unusual year with a 12-10 overall record. The Jayhawks only lost one match during the spring portion of their schedule, which was to Xavier in February. KU responded by defeating Texas State before also earning two wins against TCU, Wichita State and Arkansas State to close out the season.
