LHS baseball rolls past Olathe North for third consecutive win

The Lawrence baseball team extended its win streak to three games with a 14-3 road victory over Olathe North Friday night.

LHS (6-4) recorded 15 hits in the win, as five players recorded multiple hits. Devin Neal led the way with three hits. Carlos Vasquez, Hank Dobson, Caleb Mondi and Cole Mondi all finished with two hits. Dobson’s double served as the only extra-base hit for the Lions, who scored nine runs in the fifth to end the game early.

Both Caleb Mondi and Cole Mondi were credited with three RBIs on the night. Grant Cleavinger pitched all five innings, allowing three runs off four hits to go along with five strikeouts and two walks.

LHS will take on Sioux Falls at 6 p.m. Thursday at Hoglund Ballpark.
