Large crowds lined the railroad tracks in North Lawrence Tuesday morning as the historic Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive No. 4014 made its way through town on a national tour.

The restored steam locomotive is conducting a cross-country tour of the Union Pacific system to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the completion of the transcontinental railroad.
