Dogs big and small got their day at the pool on Monday in the Outdoor Aquatic Center's Pooch Plunge. Each year, the city neutralizes the pool chemicals to make the water safe for dogs before draining it for winter.

Feats of daredevilry, strength, music and passion were on display Friday at the Douglas County Fair. The fair concludes Saturday with a livestock auction, Family Day at the Carnival, musical performances and more. See dgcountyfair.com for more information.
