To the editor:

I am upset about the prolonged disruption to business reported by the Journal-World involving the Miller Mart and other small businesses located in the shopping area southwest of the Clinton Parkway/Wakarusa intersection. This area is part of the Southwest Trafficway reconstruction and has experienced many delays. The reasoning behind the situation and any corrective actions are out of the hands of most readers, but customers of these affected locations can respond by continuing to support them as construction continues. The temporary route to get to that location is as follows: At the intersection of Clinton Parkway and Inverness, turn south on Inverness and then make an immediate right turn on to the service road leading west. Proceed west on the service road (which will swing around to the south) until it intersects 24th Street. Turn right on 24th and proceed to Wakarusa. Turn right (north) on Wakarusa to the Miller Mart entrance. It is time for all of us who appreciate Sang’s approach to customer service to go the extra mile and continue to patronize all the businesses at that intersection.
