Letter to the editor: Congress must act on mail ballot issue

To the editor:

Question: What do you call an American who uses his authority to prevent other Americans from voting?

Answer: You call him Donald Trump. With NO evidence at all, he claims that mail-in voting will result in a gigantic fraud, and so he publicly refuses to approve funding requested by the Postal Service to allow us all to vote safely at this coronavirus time. This is nothing more than an effort to steal the election. Where else in the world but in an authoritarian or dictatorial regime has any leader done something similar? What other democracy has done such a thing? Answers: Nowhere/None!

Citizens, sound off! Congress, do your job: renounce and prevent this gross abuse of our Constitution.
