To the editor:

The November elections will be the most consequential of modern history! At stake is the rule of law, democracy versus dictatorship, freedom or a crazy cult society beholden to the will of one dangerous man. This is a five-alarm fire!

Don’t allow yourself to be hoodwinked by a potential felon, liar, cheater and bigot who has taken millions of dollars from foreign nations, an alleged sexual predator of more than 25 women who vows retribution and retaliation on all who won’t pledge allegiance and blind loyalty to him. Don’t buy into the propaganda that he will be your voice. Don’t allow the White House to be for sale, with no accountability and a get-out-of-jail-free card.

A better choice is voting for stability, continuing what we now have: falling inflation, a three-year unemployment low, 14 million new jobs, wages rising, economic recovery, crime dropping, stock market up, health care costs down and access up, Affordable Care Act, a Climate Core Program, Gun Violence Prevention, infrastructure investment, clean energy investment, debt relief, student loan modifications.

There may not be another election if you make the wrong choice. Don’t base your decisions on emotion. Think critically about our constitution and democracy, the rule of law and whether you’re willing to live life under the control of others. Every vote counts. Encourage everyone you know to show up and vote for candidates who you know will protect our democracy. Do not sit this one out. Our freedom is in YOUR hands. What will YOU do?
