To the editor:

The esteem of Allen Fieldhouse is over. The fans no longer control whether teams can come into the supposedly church of modern-day basketball. The decibel level is nothing. There is no interest in those Williams Fund paying half fans to worship to by the players. The players are playing for the NIL on the back of the jersey instead of the 125-year tradition long before NIL. If the majority of the fans can’t support the team during bad games, bad shooting and poor play, then please “give” your seats to the students who achieve the academic standards that come to the games and cheer no matter what. The team is no longer a top-five team and will never be again without that edge of Allen Fieldhouse.
