Letter to the editor: Truth and justice will prevail

To the editor:

Grandma keeps in touch from prison. She claims she was framed. She unintentionally broke some laws while practicing some religious dogma she converted to during her summer of love with Timothy Leary. But that is another story.

I agree with her not understanding how someone can take a well-compensated job with a government agency and refuse to file legal marriage documents on religious workarounds. We don’t understand why officers of the law are not required to wear body cams with the on/off switch controlled at the office of the chief of police. And we just don’t understand the defense that the defendant didn’t realize it was a crime to inflate and deflate financial records depending on where they were scrutinized.

Hang in there, Granny, truth and equal justice for all will prevail.

Lawrence
