Letter to the editor: Guns at KU
To the editor:
We have a bunch of legislators who can’t remember what it was like to be 18 and loose on a college campus. The normal human conscious brain slowly contemplates complex questions like who has wronged me enough to deserve to die, or shall I commit suicide. After focusing on the question long enough the solution usually does not involve harm to self or society. Concealed carry guns decide quickly and irrevocably and can mow down a well-regulated militia before they can powder their frizzens. KU is no place for armed teenagers.
