Letter to the editor: A bad name
To the editor:
LFK is hate speech and its nuanced connection to rape must be obvious to everyone employing it. Ironic it is that a city so dependent on the taxes paid by all the citizens of Kansas should “give the finger” to our beloved state.
To disagree on the state’s policies is endemic to democracy, but to use slurs as above reveals a paucity of character and self-respect. If we wish to end hate speech on the national level, a good idea would be to end it here. Fellow citizens, you can do better.
