To the editor:

Whether you’re an extremist, liberal or conservative, you should reach the conclusion at some point that you would be flabbergasted if the world you believe in ever exists. It’s time for reality. Whether it’s the planet, social justice, the economy or human health, now is the time for healing.

Sanctuary cities are not the answer to the immigration problem, but they can provide time to formulate some answers. The current administration and Senate majority advocate for the opposite, while refusing to compromise with the other side of the aisle to provide a solution.

Campaign 2020 will be very visible during the coming months. “We”re back on the corner again” wondering if things will change.

One side has a platform and a directive to heal, the other is not even in this “healing game.”
