Letter to the editor: Drop box appreciated
To the editor:
Sometime in September, it was decided to add voting drop boxes in the outlying communities of Lecompton, Eudora and Baldwin City as well as adding a few more new locations within Lawrence. As a resident of Lecompton, I will certainly be using our new drop box. Thank you to County Clerk Jamie Shrew, his staff, as well as anybody else who was behind installing these additional boxes. With the recent uncertainty as to whether the postal service can handle increased absentee voting, these drop boxes are greatly appreciated!
