Letter to the editor: Opening churches
To the editor:
OK, let me get this right. Donald Trump wants it to be mandatory to open churches.
What church does Trump go to? I have yet to see where he has ever attended church. And I do not believe he is a Christian. He can doubt President Barack Obama’s birthplace and religion. So I have the right to doubt Trump is religious at all.
He doesn’t act like a Christian.
He doesn’t share compassion or empathy for anyone.
He is racist and despises the poor.
He only praises those who break the law or fudge on the truth.
He lies to exonerate himself or cohorts in his crimes.
He badmouths those who don’t bow to him.
He withholds precious commodities from those who need them.
He seeks to discredit those who would criticize him.
He seeks to divide our nation every chance he gets. Never uniting.
Where does it end?
We have so many needless deaths from coronavirus because of his lack of expediency in dealing with it. All because of his vanity.
He wouldn’t even wear a mask when it was mandatory.
Presidents are usually role models for youngsters.
Not for my family. No way. No how.
